Choosing a battery for the Peugeot 108
The 108 has been on sale since 2014 and is a current model. Cars of this age carry a lot of electronics, and most need a EFB battery matched to the factory specification.
Compact cars use smaller batteries with less reserve, so short trips with the AC running drain them faster. The good news is that replacement is quick and the batteries are easy to stock.
What a Peugeot needs from its battery
Most recent Peugeots with stop/start take an EFB or AGM battery in H5 or H6. Older models without it use a flooded battery of the same DIN footprint. The technician confirms from the label or the VIN.
