About Mobis
Hyundai Mobis supplies the parts that Hyundai and Kia dealers fit, batteries included. Because each battery is specified for particular models, the size, hold-down and terminal positions line up without adapters or guesswork. Conventional models take a sealed maintenance-free battery, and models with ISG, the name Hyundai and Kia use for stop/start, take AGM. The range is narrow by design, since it only needs to cover the group’s own cars.

Is a Mobis battery the same as the one my Hyundai came with?
It is the genuine replacement part for the car. The technician still checks the label on the old battery to match capacity and technology for your model and year.
My Kia has ISG. Which battery does it need?
ISG is stop/start, so it needs an AGM battery. A standard flooded battery will not cope and the ISG function may stop working.
What warranty do you give on Mobis batteries?
Up to 24 months. The exact term depends on the battery model.
