About Varta
Varta has been making batteries since 1887 and its car range is now produced by Clarios. The line-up is easy to read: Silver Dynamic AGM for stop/start cars with heavy electrical loads, Blue Dynamic EFB for lighter stop/start systems, and Blue Dynamic and Black Dynamic flooded batteries for conventional cars. Because the same factories supply car makers directly, a Varta AGM usually matches the original battery in size, terminal layout and venting. That makes fitting on a European car straightforward and keeps the battery sensor reading correctly.

Is Varta original equipment on German cars?
Clarios, which makes Varta, supplies factory batteries to many European car makers, and those batteries often carry the car maker badge rather than the Varta name. The aftermarket Varta uses the same technology and sizes.
What is the difference between Varta Silver Dynamic AGM and Blue Dynamic EFB?
AGM holds the acid in glass mat separators and suits cars with stop/start plus heavy electrical demand. EFB is a strengthened flooded battery for lighter stop/start systems. If the car came with AGM, we fit AGM.
What warranty comes with a Varta battery?
Up to 24 months. The exact term depends on the battery model, and the technician writes it on your invoice.
