Choosing a battery for the Range Rover Evoque L
It shares its electrical layout with the second-generation Evoque, so it takes an AGM battery. On an imported car we always check the label, because market specifications can differ.

What a Land Rover needs from its battery
Every Range Rover with start-stop needs an AGM battery, usually one of the larger DIN sizes. Older Land Rovers without start-stop run a conventional maintenance-free battery. Capacity differs by engine and year, so we confirm it from the label or the VIN before dispatch.
After a new battery goes in, the battery monitoring system should be reset so the car charges it correctly. Skipping that step is a common reason for a "low battery" message returning weeks later. Mild-hybrid models also carry a separate 48V pack, which we leave untouched.
