About Duracell
The copper-and-black casing is familiar to almost everyone, which is part of the appeal. Duracell does not run its own car battery plants. The licence holder builds the batteries, and which manufacturer that is depends on the region the battery was made for. The automotive range is usually arranged in three steps, Starter, Advanced and Extreme, with the Extreme line carrying the AGM and EFB batteries for stop/start cars. We read the label on each one for the capacity and cold cranking figures and match those to your car, not the name on the case.
Duracell in UAE heat
Nothing about the brand changes the basic rule here: expect 2 to 3 years in UAE conditions. Have the battery tested before summer, because a weak one tends to fail in the first hot week.

We fit a Duracell on a stop/start Range Rover only in the AGM grade and only when the size matches the original. The flooded Starter and Advanced grades go on cars without stop/start.

No. They are built under licence by automotive battery manufacturers, and the maker differs by region. The label on the battery shows where it was made.
Is a Duracell car battery suitable for stop/start?
The AGM and EFB versions are. The standard flooded grades are not, and we will not fit one to a stop/start car.
What warranty do you give on Duracell?
Up to 24 months. The exact term depends on the battery model.
