The Exide name is more than a century old, and the companies that use it today in Europe and in India are run independently of each other. Both supply car makers directly. The European range is laid out as Classic, Excell and Premium for conventional cars, with Exide EFB and Exide AGM for stop/start. An Exide in the UAE can come from either source, so we read the label for the country of manufacture and the ratings before recommending it for a particular car.
