Bosch S5 A and Varta Silver Dynamic AGM sit at the same level and either is correct for a stop/start car. Bosch has the easier grade names, Varta has the wider spread of AGM sizes in our stock.

Which Bosch battery is the AGM one?
The S5 A. The letter A marks AGM, and the S4 E is the EFB version. Plain S3, S4 and S5 are conventional flooded batteries.
Can I fit a Bosch S5 in a car that came with AGM?
No. A flooded S5 will not last on a stop/start charging system and the stop/start function may switch itself off. The car needs the S5 A.
How long is the warranty on a Bosch battery?
Up to 24 months, and the exact term depends on the battery model. Ask on WhatsApp and we will confirm it for the battery your car takes.
