What a Ferrari needs from its battery
Many Ferraris take an AGM battery in a DIN size, often H7 or H8, and some recent models are fitted with a 12V lithium battery from the factory. The specification is particular to each model, so it is always confirmed from the VIN.
The battery location changes from model to model and reaching it usually means removing trim panels, so the job takes longer than on an ordinary car. Ferrari supplies a battery conditioner with the car, and using it whenever the car is parked for more than a few days is the best protection there is.
