What a Chrysler needs from its battery
The Chrysler 300 is the one most people here know, a big saloon that many owners keep well past its tenth year. Older cars with ageing wiring and alternators are harder on batteries than new ones.
Battery type and size
The 300 usually takes an H7 or H8 battery, AGM on later cars and V8 versions. The Pacifica generally uses a similar DIN size. Check the label, because ratings differ between the V6 and the V8.
Worth knowing before fitting
The battery on the 300 is in the boot under the floor panel, so it is a vented type with a tube leading outside. A flat battery also means the boot may need opening with the key blade, and the jump posts under the bonnet are the place to connect a booster.
