Choosing a battery for the Fiat 500C
The 500C has been on sale since 2009 and is a current model. Cars of this age carry a lot of electronics, and most need a EFB battery matched to the factory specification.
Coupés often sit for days between drives, and that is when a battery quietly discharges. If yours is a weekend car, ask us about a maintenance charger when we fit the new battery.
What a Fiat needs from its battery
European cars use DIN batteries with recessed terminals, most often H5 or H6, with H7 on larger engines. Stop/start versions usually need EFB or AGM. Older cars without stop/start run a standard flooded battery.
The battery height matters on these cars because the hold-down clamp grips a lip at the base. Some older models also ask for a radio code after the battery has been disconnected, so it helps to have it to hand.
Send a photo of the label on your current battery, or the registration card, and we will confirm the exact specification before the technician leaves.

Fiat 500C battery questions
What battery does the Fiat 500C use?
For the 500C we normally fit a EFB battery. Capacity and size vary with engine and year, so we check the label on the old battery or the VIN before bringing the replacement.
How long does a 500C battery last in the UAE?
In UAE heat a car battery typically lasts two to three years. Covered parking and a longer drive each week help it reach the upper end of that range.
Can you replace my 500C battery in a basement car park?
Yes. Our service vehicles fit standard basement height limits. Share the level and bay number and let security know a technician is coming.
Does the 500C need the battery registered after replacement?
On most Fiat models of this age the battery management system should be told a new battery is fitted, and we do that on site. The technician carries a diagnostic tool and checks for stored battery faults either way.
Battery trouble right now?
Send your location and car model. A technician is usually with you in 20 to 35 minutes.
No call-out surprises. You get the quote before we move.
