Choosing a battery for the Bentley Bentayga
The Bentayga has been on sale since 2015 and is a current model. Cars of this age carry a lot of electronics, and most need a AGM battery matched to the factory specification.
As an SUV it carries a larger battery than a small hatchback, and the AC and rear climate work hard in UAE traffic. We bring the full-capacity unit, not a smaller one that happens to fit the tray.
What a Bentley needs from its battery
Most modern Bentleys take large AGM batteries, usually H8 or H9. Capacity and layout differ between the Continental, Flying Spur and Bentayga, so the VIN is checked before a battery is sent.
Many Continental and Flying Spur models have two batteries in the boot, one for starting and one for the rest of the electrics. They age differently, so each is tested on its own. The factory battery conditioner socket is there to be used.

What battery does the Bentley Bentayga use?
For the Bentayga we normally fit a AGM battery. Capacity and size vary with engine and year, so we check the label on the old battery or the VIN before bringing the replacement.
How long does a Bentayga battery last in the UAE?
In UAE heat a car battery typically lasts two to three years. Covered parking and a longer drive each week help it reach the upper end of that range.
Can you replace my Bentayga battery in a basement car park?

Does the Bentayga need the battery registered after replacement?
